Mammoth Mountain is home to the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, founded by Dave McCoy in 1953. Mammoth is the highest ski resort in California and is notable for the unusually large amount of snowfall it receives compared to other California SKi Areas—about 400" (1,000 cm) annually and about 300 out of 365 days of sunshine—due to its location in a low gap in the Sierra crest. The ski area is located on the north side of the Mountain in the volcanic Long Valley Caldera. We will be staying in the town of Mammoth Lakes, California.
The top of the mountain has challenging chutes and groomed as well as mogul runs. There are eight Unbound terrain parks. Unbound Main, adjacent to Main Lodge, is highly praised by extreme snowboarding and skiing enthusiasts, and is one of the major attractions of the ski resort. Mammoth Mountain also has one of the longest ski seasons in North America, which averages from the start of November to Memorial Day..

The Juniper Springs Resort:
The perfect basecamp for any Mammoth ski adventure, Juniper Springs Resort delivers all the comforts of home with ski-in, ski-out convenience. The Eagle base lodge next door delivers all your ski resort needs.
Each unit has a kitchen with refrigerator, oven, stovetop, and microwave. Make yourself at home in living room with gas fireplace and adjacent dining area. Units come with a balcony. Units do not have air conditioning. All 180 units are individually owned and decorated and may vary from property photos.
Please note that Juniper Springs Resort is only 45 minutes from the Bishop International Airport (BIH).

Fireplace
Your room features a fireplace for your comfort. To light, locate the thermostat on the wall and turn past 70°. Fireplaces in Sunstone rooms are remote control operated.
Fitness Room
Located off the Lobby, our fully equipped fitness room includes everything from free weights to exercise balls and mats, and a 40-inch flat screen TV with DVD player and surround sound. Open 24 hours with room key access.
Game Room (temporarily unavailable)
Three gaming systems and a ping pong table are available for the kids, or kids at heart. Open daily 10am–10pm.
Ice Machines
Ice Machines are located on the second, fourth and fifth levels of Juniper Springs Lodge, and on the first level of Sunstone.
Internet Access
Free Wi-Fi internet is available in-room and throughout the property. The network name is “Juniper Springs Resort” and for the Sunstone building it’s “Sunstone.” No password required.
Laundry Facilities
Located on the second, third, fourth, and fifth levels of Juniper Springs Lodge, the first level of Sunstone, and in each townhouse at Eagle Run, with available laundry soaps and supplies. Additional fees apply. Open daily 7am–10pm.
Pool & Hot Tubs
Hot tubs are located on the Lobby level of Juniper Springs Lodge, the first level of Sunstone, and the ground level at Eagle Run. Heated outdoor pools are located at Juniper Springs Lodge and Sunstone. Open daily 10am–10pm, year-round. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in the pool area unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Glass containers and music are not permitted in the Pool Area.
Ski/Snowboard Lockers
Each unit is designated one storage locker for ski and snowboard equipment. Lockers are located on the Lobby level, adjacent to the Daily Grind Coffee Shop. Additional and oversized storage is available at the bell desk.

If you accidentally pay using credit or debit by mistake, you can contact the treasurer immediately. If its by 10 pm central the same day we should be able to reverse the payment and avoid the 3% fee. There will still be a .30 cent refund fee charged by the payment system.
If past this deadline, once you pay with credit/debit the merchant will not refund this fee and you will not be refunded this fee if you cancel off the trip.
