Landmark Condominiums
The beautiful and friendly Lionshead Village is completely closed off to cars and buses, offering a short walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola, Chair 8 (Born Free Express), the Arrabelle Square outdoor ice rink (with skate rental), and numerous shops and restaurants.
Originally built in the late 60s, Lionshead was recently renovated in Austrian-inspired style. Long-time favorite restaurants Bart & Yeti’s and Garfinkel’s (Garf's to locals) anchor the diverse culinary scene. The Vail Chop House and Tavern at Vail Square offer more upscale dining options as well as a great place for slope-side cocktails.
There is a mix of shopping, from luxury goods to much-loved outdoor lifestyle brands like Burton, Patagonia, Salomon and The North Face. Also, the walk between Lionshead and Vail Village only takes 10-15 minutes, or there is a complimentary In-Town bus that runs regularly, all day long and well into the evening.
IMPORTANT NEWS ON LIFT TICKETS!!!
Vail Resorts has made significant changes to lift policies for the 2020-2021 season. Please see the Epic Pass website for details.
For this year, you will be able to choose between purchasing the traditional group tickets and an Epic Daily Pass (or other Epic passes). The Daily Pass is more expensive than our group passes ($312 vs $369 for 3 days and $323 vs $404 for 4 days). Due to Vail Resort's policies you must reserve the days you wish to ski. If you purchase the group pass, which is included in the lift packages, you CANNOT reserve the days you wish to ski and could thus could be shut out from skiing if reservations fill up.
If you wish to purchase any of the Epic passes, sign up for a package without lifts and purchase the Epic pass of your choice on their website. Prices are set to increase after September 17. You will be able to reserve your days beginning sometime in November. Check the Epic site for updates.
