Get your skiing skills honed with free x-county lessons offered by Nordic club instructors at 10 am at Homestead Hollow area. We’ll have a noon picnic at Trecker Lodge by the Homestead Hollow parking lot. The club will supply the noontime picnic lunch for club members ($5 for non-members) – IF you make reservations by Wednesday, January 4th.
Wheel & Sprocket will probably be renting skies in the small building by the red machine shed by Evergreen Shelter area. Lapham Peak is located one mile south of I-94 on County Highway C at the Delafield exit. You will need a 2012 State Park vehicle sticker (annual $25; daily $7) and a Trail Pass (annual $20; daily $4) per person. These can be purchased at the Lapham Peak entrance station. Lines can be long at the entrance station so come early.
