4th Annual St. Patty’s Day Bike Ride

Saturday March 24th, 2012

Yes… it might be snowing!

Most definitely, it will be cold!

Yes…. we are all a little crazy!

And YES there will be Green S**t Margaritas!

Hosted By :  Gayla Greis

Please RSVP to glala1968@gmail.com (new email address) I need to give the restaurant a heads up to how many people will be there.  Call or email for directions to starting destination.

Time:                                      High Noon

Starting Destination:            Father Greis’s House (Gayla’s new/old stomping grounds)

(Start with Dad’s famous

chilled Irish Jaeger Meister Shots)

303 W. Zedler Lane

                        Mequon, WI 53092

                                                Cell: 414-803-1160

Ending Destination:             Highland House

                      12741 North Port Washington Road

                       Mequon, WI 53092

(262) 243-5844

Drinks you are on your own (we usually chip in for the pitchers). Irish coffee and desert will be served after the ride. A few desert donations would be appreciated – you don’t want to rely on my baking skills!

For those who have never been on the ride – green attire is requested. If anyone can out do Sue C. and Laura K. in St. Patty’s day bike and body decorations.... I say, bring it on!  Prizes will be awarded for best outfit and best bike decoration.

We will ride unless it is raining or blizzard conditions – yes we ride if it is snowing. Mountain bikes or a sturdy bike are suggested since I can’t guarantee the road condition. Bike pumps will be available.  This is a leisure ride - dad’s maximum speed is 8mph so don’t worry if you are new or think you will be lost or left behind – you won’t.  Ride is around hmmm 3, maybe 8, oh I guess closer to 100ish miles (don’t tell Judy how long the ride is). Actually, one way is about 5 miles from dad’s house.

For those who just want the margaritas without the satisfying loss of calories, the utter enjoyments of riding with people as crazy as you, and the added enjoyment of looking like the green version of the Ringling Brothers Circus act, feel free to meet us at the restaurant (estimated time 1:30)

Sláinte!
